Non-profit humanitarian organization in Ukraine since 2004. Protection of women and children located in the conflict zone of Donbas. The leadership of the International Foundation for Medical Cooperation (Association Іnternationale de Сoopération Medicine - "AICM") has been providing assistance in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe for more than 10 years. We were deeply touched by the crisis situation in the health sector of Ukraine, where the mortality rate is the highest in Europe and, in most cases, the outdated system of medical care. Many Ukrainian doctors approached us with a request to help them establish contact with their French colleagues. It is because of the huge demand for borrowing foreign experience, as well as having received an approving response from the French side, that we decided to create a Fund in Ukraine that would become a kind of bridge between the two countries. INSTITUTIONS: Participation in professional development and training of doctors of specialized institutes in such profiles as cardiac surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, pediatrics and gynecology. 55 medical specialists were trained and received 1-4 months training in France. HOSPITALS: Providing assistance to medical institutions in need by training doctors, performing complex surgeries in France, delivering essential equipment from France. Thus, 5 dialysis centers (artificial kidney), dozens of operating units and radiological diagnostics rooms throughout Ukraine were equipped. Development of “twinning” ties between Ukrainian and French hospitals. Assistance in promoting European medical standards in Ukraine.
